Please make your reservation by October 23, 2009
The Albuquerque International Sunport (ABQ) is served by several commercial air carriers, so it should be easy to find air transportation to the conference.
Amtrak serves Albuquerque (ABQ) on the Southwest Chief route. The Amtrak station is downtown Albuquerque on First Street, near Central (Rte 66).
The Sunport Shuttle and similar companies provide shuttle service from the Albuquerque International Sunport to area hotels for a modest fee. It is possible to rent a car from a variety of companies. However, parking on or near the UNM campus is seldom easy. For conference attendees staying at the Albuquerque Hilton, morning and afternoon shuttles will be provided to the UNM campus.
Rapid Ride is part of the City of Albuquerque's public transportation. A large fleet of articulated ("accordian") buses, equipped with wireless internet, provide fast, easy and inexpensive transportation in the city. Rapid Ride stops are available near the hotel and at the South edge of the UNM campus. Buses are scheduled to run every 10 or 11 minutes.
