Much Ado About Mentoring!
An exciting series of 20 interactive and challenging seminars designed to develop mentoring
skills, awareness, and professional practice. The program uses a wide variety of methods
to support deep learning and practical application.
On completion of the seminar series, participants will be able to:
- Develop and understand various skills, approaches, and techniques in mentoring.
- Understand the importance of identifying the mentor's developmental needs.
- Develop critical awareness of the various contexts of mentoring and consider how they apply to their own context.
- Understand the underpinning psychological, sociological, and philosophical constructs for mentors, coaches, and program managers.
- Consider the ethical issues that may arise from mentoring and coaching activity.
