This paper expands previous research discussing a former faculty-mentoring program for new and adjunct faculty teaching ALP (Accelerated Learning Program) / corequisite writing at the Community College of Rhode Island (CCRI) which was a boon to student success during the pandemic and aims to provide mentoring tools to new and adjunct faculty teaching online. The sudden shift to online learning brought multiple challenges, still relevant today, including student engagement, student attendance, and successful completion of work; thus, we also emphasize best digital practices that enable a successful online learning environment. A continuous support system / mentoring program that helps with all facets of distance learning is important for the success and well-being of both faculty and students.
